This mural was a very special installation not only to the residents of Horton, KS but also to the neighboring towns and to veterans nation wide. The images are actual veterans from Horton and neighboring towns in Kansas. We enjoyed learning the history of each veteran we painted and honoring them. Their stories can now live on through the mural and the new generations who see the mural.
